Dooya screen programming for DD2700H and DD2702H remotes.
This guide covers the common Dooya exterior-screen workflow: first pairing, direction checks, upper and lower electronic limits, limit adjustment, preferred positions, added remotes, DD2702H channel display, motor mode, and destructive memory routines.
Read this before changing Dooya programming
Stop if the screen binds, runs crooked, unwraps, overtravels, or approaches the housing or tracks incorrectly. Programming cannot correct a damaged screen, poor alignment, a re-wrapped curtain, or a motor in thermal cutoff.
Deleting limits or all remotes removes working information from the motor. Do not use a deletion routine unless you can safely rebuild the limits and reconnect every intended control. The button sequences on this page are for Dooya DD2700H single-channel and DD2702H 15-channel screen controls used with a compatible electronic-limit motor. Other Dooya motors, wired switches, curtain motors, hubs, and private-label remotes can use different procedures.
Watch for both jogs and beeps
The DD2700H/DD2702H instructions use a short motor movement and audible beeps to confirm each command. Wait for the confirmation before sending the next button press.
Programming windows are short
Initial pairing must begin within about seven seconds of power-up, and a programming routine can exit when more than six seconds passes between button presses.
Protect working limits
A screen that still stops reliably has valuable stored information. Adjust only the problem limit instead of deleting both limits or clearing every paired remote.

Before you begin
Identify the control and make the screen safe to move.
Dooya supplies many motor and control families. Preserve any response that still works and verify the exact remote before using a timed pairing or limit sequence.
Confirm the remote label is DD2700H or DD2702H and that the motor uses compatible electronic limits. Do not assume every Dooya-branded control shares this sequence.
Clear the screen opening, tracks, bottom bar, housing, furniture, and people from the full travel path before moving the screen.
Select the intended DD2702H channel before programming and isolate power to the target motor if another screen could respond.
Replace a weak remote battery and move close to the screen before treating a range or response problem as erased programming.
Document every working remote, channel, upper stop, lower stop, and preferred position before changing anything.
Programming routine
Pair a DD2700H or DD2702H Remote
Use this only for the documented first-pairing power-up behavior on a compatible Dooya electronic-limit screen motor.
Prepare the intended remote and channel
DD2700H: single channel | DD2702H: select target channel
Stand near the intended screen with the correct remote ready. If more than one motor shares power, isolate the motor being programmed before the power-up step.
The pairing window is short, so identify the power control and remote channel before starting.
Initial Pairing: Power up the motor
Power ON -> 1 jog + 1 long beep
Apply power to the compatible motor. The DD2700H/DD2702H instructions expects one jog and one long beep as the startup prompt for initial pairing.
Existing Product? Hold motorhead button ~2 sec to initiate pairing instead of cycling power.
Pair within the seven-second window
Within 7 sec: hold STOP 2 sec
Press and hold STOP for about two seconds. Two jogs and three beeps confirm that the remote or selected channel has paired successfully.
If the window expires, restart the documented power-up procedure rather than rapidly pressing unrelated buttons.
Test one direction at a time
Tap UP -> STOP -> tap DOWN -> STOP
Verify that only the intended screen responds and that it can stop safely before moving far enough to test its stored limits.
Stop immediately if the screen travels crooked, unwraps, strains, or heads into the housing incorrectly.
Programming routine
Confirm or Correct Direction
Use the direction-change command only before limits exist and only when the identified Dooya motor matches this control family.
Check direction before setting limits
UP should raise | DOWN should lower
Use a short movement away from either end of travel to confirm that the remote arrows match screen movement.
The documented direction-change routine requires reversing operation without limits. Do not casually reverse a motor that already has working limits.
Reverse travel direction if needed (skip if correct)
Hold UP+DOWN together 2 sec
For a DD2700H/DD2702H-compatible motor that is still in reversing operation without limits, hold UP and DOWN together for about two seconds. One jog confirms the rotation direction changed.
If limits already exist, stop and identify the motor before using this sequence. Direction and stored limits must agree to keep the screen out of the housing and tracks.
Retest before continuing
UP = raise | DOWN = lower
Confirm direction with short movements, then stop the screen in a safe mid-travel position before setting either limit.
If the response is still reversed or more than one screen moves, do not proceed to limit programming.
Programming routine
Set or Adjust Upper and Lower Limits
Store both safe travel stops on a new setup, or open only the individual limit that needs correction on a partly working screen.
Set the upper limit
Move to upper position -> hold UP+STOP 2 sec
Move the screen carefully to the intended upper stop. Hold UP and STOP together for about two seconds. Two jogs and three beeps confirm the upper limit is stored.
Do not pull the bottom bar into the housing or let fabric, zipper edges, or slats leave their intended path.
Set the lower limit
Move to lower position -> hold DOWN+STOP 2 sec
Move the screen to the intended lower stop. Hold DOWN and STOP together for about two seconds. Two jogs and three beeps confirm the lower limit is stored.
Stop above any hard obstruction and preserve the intended bottom-bar and track geometry.
Adjust only the upper limit when needed
Hold UP+STOP 5 sec -> reset upper position
To change the existing upper stop, hold UP and STOP together for about five seconds. One jog and one long beep open the adjustment, after which the upper-limit setting step is repeated at the corrected position.
Use this targeted adjustment instead of deleting both stored limits.
Adjust only the lower limit when needed
Hold DOWN+STOP 5 sec -> reset lower position
To change the existing lower stop, hold DOWN and STOP together for about five seconds. One jog and one long beep open the adjustment, after which the lower-limit setting step is repeated.
Run one complete supervised cycle after either limit changes and verify both ends of travel.
Programming routine
Set or Remove a Preferred Position
Use this after both primary limits work correctly and the screen travels evenly through the opening.
Move to the desired intermediate position
Run screen -> STOP at preferred position
Position the screen where you want the saved favorite or intermediate stop, away from the upper and lower limits.
Confirm the screen is level and moving freely before storing the position.
Store the preferred position
P2 x1 -> STOP x1 -> STOP x1
Press P2 once, STOP once, and STOP once again. The expected confirmations progress from one jog and one beep to two jogs and three beeps when the position is stored.
P2 is normally the recessed programming button. Use a controlled press and stay within the six-second interval between commands.
Remove the preferred position
At saved setup: P2 x1 -> STOP x1 -> STOP x1
The same sequence removes an existing preferred position when the motor already has one stored. A final single jog and long beep indicates deletion rather than creation.
Because the command toggles the stored state, confirm whether a preferred position exists before sending it.
Programming routine
Add Remotes and Configure DD2702H Channels
Copy access from one known working remote and channel, then verify the new destination without disturbing the original control.
Copy from an existing remote or channel
Existing remote/channel: P2 x1 -> P2 x1
On the remote and channel that already control the intended screen, press P2 once, wait for one jog and one beep, then press P2 again and wait for the next confirmation.
Do not start from an ALL channel or an uncertain group. The working source channel determines which motor is opened for learning.
Paste to the new remote or channel, or Delete from an existing remote/channel
New remote/channel: P2 x1
Select the intended destination channel, then press P2 once on the new remote. Two jogs and three beeps confirm the additional control is linked.
This routine can toggle an already-linked control on compatible systems. Test both controls immediately so you know the resulting state.
Limit the visible channels on a DD2702H
LEFT+RIGHT -> choose channel count -> STOP
Press the left and right channel buttons together until the channel-count setting appears, use the left button to choose the desired number of visible channels, then press STOP to save.
This changes the handheld channel display; it does not safely reorganize which motors are already assigned to each channel.
Programming routine
Change Motor Operating Mode
Have to hold the button to move the shade? Your product may be in a setup/momentary operating mode. Use the documented mode toggle command only when you have confirmed the motor type and understand its current momentary or continuous behavior.
Confirm this manual applies before changing mode
DD2700H/DD2702H-compatible electronic motor only
The remote guide includes a motor-mode toggle, but the resulting behavior depends on the compatible motor. Test the current press-and-hold or continuous-run behavior before changing it.
Do not use this as a troubleshooting reset. A motion problem may be mechanical, thermal, power-related, or limit-related.
Switch Mode sequence
P2 x1 -> UP x1 -> UP x1
Press P2 once, UP once, and UP once again, waiting for the jog and beep after each command. The final long beep confirms the motor accepted the mode change.
Supervise the next movement closely so you know whether the motor now uses momentary/jog or continuous behavior.
Programming routine
Delete Limits or Remote Memory
These routines are destructive. Use them only when a complete, supervised rebuild is intentional.
Delete every stored limit only for a controlled rebuild
P2 x1 -> DOWN x1 -> P2 x1
On the exact DD2700H/DD2702H-compatible motor, press P2, DOWN, then P2. Two jogs and three beeps at the end confirm all upper and lower limits were removed.
DESTRUCTIVE: the screen can now overtravel. Be ready to stop movement and immediately rebuild safe limits before normal use.
Remove every paired remote only when intentional
P2 x1 -> STOP x1 -> P2 x1
Press P2, STOP, then P2 on the applicable control. Two jogs and three beeps confirm that the motor cleared its paired remote memory.
DESTRUCTIVE: every working handheld or channel can stop controlling the screen. Preserve the pairing and channel map first.
Rebuild one function at a time
Pair -> direction check -> upper limit -> lower limit -> test
After an intentional deletion, restore one known remote, confirm direction, set both safe limits, and complete a supervised cycle before adding groups or preferred positions.
If the motor does not give the documented confirmations, stop rather than stacking more reset attempts.
When to stop
Do not turn a screen problem into erased Dooya programming.
A working channel, repeatable stop, jog, or beep is diagnostic information. Preserve it until the motor, remote, and mechanical condition are identified.
Dooya product and troubleshooting notes
The DD2700H is a single-channel control; the DD2702H can expose up to 15 channels. Select the intended DD2702H channel before every programming command.
The guide expects no more than about six seconds between programming inputs and uses jog/beep patterns as confirmation.
If a motor stops after extended testing, the instructions note an internal thermal cutoff after roughly four minutes of run time. Let it cool rather than resetting it.
If the screen misses the lower limit or travels too far into the housing, inspect for fabric re-wrap and track problems before changing limits.
Current Dooya catalogs include several electronic, mechanical, battery, radio, and app-enabled motor families. A similar-looking remote is not proof that these sequences apply.
